Virtual numbers
Virtual phone numbers are real phone numbers that have been detached from any physical phone line. This dramatically increases the flexibility and decreases operational costs, while maintaining telecom quality and improving redundancy.
With virtual phone numbers, users can roam - and still answer the phone.
Just as traditional phone users can forward incoming calls to any destination, users with a virtual number can also forward incoming calls to any phone - such as a mobile phone, a remote office or a vacation destination (using a Voxbone partner or reseller).
For one low monthly fee, each virtual phone number can receive an unlimited number of incoming minutes, giving you complete telecom cost certainty.
You can define how many concurrent calls your virtual numbers should support when adding channels to your numbers.
Virtual numbers are for example used by call centers to save on real estate costs by having customer service representatives work from remote offices or at home - all while maintaining telecom quality.
With Voxbone you can easily get virtual numbers from a remote area, city, or even from a foreign country and receive all incoming calls at one location.
In the old PSTN days you had to order a PRI (E1 or T1) and colocate an equipment in each of the countries from which you wanted to collect traffic. This results in high costs, and a long time to market.
Now you can get a virtual E1 or T1 that covers all our cities in just a few minutes. Just configure the capacity that you need and from which cities you wish to collect, and we do the rest!
